Sketch chair

Designed by two of our industrial design students, Tiago and Greg, who are now working together in London in their own design studio diatom.
This is an open-source tool they are working on that will allow anybody to design and digitally fabricate their own furniture.  They’re really excited about this project, and would love you to check it out!

Inspiration for Inspiration

The internet is an amazing place for artists from all over the world to share, create and inspire ideas with each other. We all know that there are various websites that are available out there (such as the one we will be using for our own works) which allow individuals to post their creations and receive feedback, but I also think these websites are a great way to find inspiration for my own work. One website that I particularly enjoy searching thorough for ideas from around the world is www.thecoolhunter.net

I've recently seen this collection which was re-posted on the cool hunter website;

I love the concept of old vs. new. Recreating the old style of photography with a personal and modern twist.
I hope that you will be able find your own inspiration,

An Interesting Design...

I love the idea of taking something so common and recognizable and turning it into something new, exciting and interesting.

Also check out http://www.albinkarlsson.com/index2.html
I love all of Albin Karlsson's projects, but in particular I love 'analogue' & 'Lamp/clock'.

I like those two projects for the same reasons I like the clock on the bike chain.
I know the website is a little hard to navigate.

Enjoy
